Version 3 is a major update to Asteroid Belt

New Features

Added a new boss with a rocket attack. The boss will spawn during the level. The boss will periodically create rockets that drop through all 3 vertical spaces in 2 single horizontal spaces simultaneously. Before the rockets are fired there will be a warning signal placed on the spaces that will be impacted.

Added a high score database.

Improved Features

Medium asteroids have been replaced with space squids.

Large asteroids have been replaced with satellites.

Version 2 is a major update to Asteroid Belt

New Features

Added a boss with a laser attack. The boss will spawn up to 3 times during the level. The boss will periodically create lasers that block all 3 vertical spaces in 2 horizontal spaces simultaneously, temporarily. Lasers also destroy all asteroids they are fired through. Before the lasers are fired there will be a warning signal placed on the lanes that will be impacted.

Added rocket power-up. Collect the small, shimmering, yellow asteroid to damage the boss while it is active.

Added bomb power up. Collect the small, shimmering, red asteroid to destroy all asteroids on the screen.

Version 1

Asteroid Belt Version 1 released on 10 April 2024

Version 1 is the official launch of Asteroid Belt

The player must control a UFO to avoid Asteroids. The UFO moves forward automatically and can move left and right between 3 lanes. The UFO can also "jump" and "reverse jump" to help avoid obstacles. There is 1 type of level: Endless Mode.

There are 3 types of asteroids: small (blocking 1 vertical and 1 horizontal space), medium (blocking 2 vertical and 1 horizontal space) and large (blocking all 3 vertical and 1 horizontal space). There is 1 type of pickup, collect the small, shimering, cyan asteroid to apply a shield to your ship. A shield will prevent the player from being destroyed when colliding with an asteroid but will be consumed in the process.

Controls

A / ← - Change lane left

D / → - Change lane right

W / ↑ - Jump

S / ↓ - Reverse jump

Enter - Play

Esc - Back / Exit
